In chriscollins’s Magic Touch, a woman sits at a counter in front of dark computer equipment. From the lower right, a hand reaches towards her.2 The wallet linked to the chriscollins Art Blocks account held one work from nearly every BrainDrops release.3,4 A hand entering a snapshot, a meeting in a grey interior and a narrow path beside a breaking wave make unlikely neighbours. All three works give the eye a particular place to stand.2,5,6
Magic Touch belongs to Life In West America, and the token's own Artist field names Roope Rainisto, which is the credit this essay follows.2 The series is made of pictures that pass for mid-century colour photographs of the American West, each usually holding a detail no lens could have recorded.7 In Magic Touch, the hand entering the scene makes an otherwise familiar encounter feel unsettled.7 The woman is still, the machines behind her are unlit, and the intruding hand gives the title a literal subject, a touch arriving from outside the composition.2 The token records its Form as Union and its Orientation as Landscape.2 BD5D's history of the series notes that the project page never explains the Form values, so Union is a label to note rather than a key to the scene.7 The release frames the project as an inquiry into America as an idea and into the lives of people who live there, and this work narrows that inquiry to one interior and one gesture.8 It is a JPEG with no animation file, a still image in the manner of the photographs it imitates.2

One Last Order comes from Paradise Lost, credited on the token to Ren, and it swaps the photographic surface for a panel drawn in an anime manner.5,9 The release presents the edition as a sequence of artworks arranged like a book, telling a tale of authority, friendship and liberty.10 This token sits in the fifth act, Awakening Humanity, in a scene titled Downfall. Its text tells of a character named Sato being exposed while the customers of a company called NeuraCorp band together to seek redress.5 The picture is calmer than that summary.5 Several people in suits stand around a lit tabletop inside a tall grey room, so the collapse appears as a meeting rather than a riot.5 Elsewhere in the edition the panels follow a young inventor with glasses and untidy black hair, looking up into a splintering city or bent over wired equipment in a headset.9 Here the frame belongs to a group, and the light collects on the table between them.5 Like Magic Touch, it is a JPEG with an empty animation field.5

Beyonder, from New Lands and credited on its token to Miboso, moves outdoors and into the scale of fantasy illustration.6 A lone figure walks a narrow path towards a colossal curling wave or tunnel, with bright spray breaking at the right.6 BD5D's study of the edition observes that its people tend to be small or turned away, so the viewer looks over their shoulders. Beyonder makes that habit its whole subject, a body measured against water.11 The release casts the edition as a sea voyage past familiar horizons under strange lights in the sky.12 The single variable trait, Category, reads Scene here, the grouping BD5D associates with events on a journey rather than places reached or vessels.6,11 The curling shape recalls a whirlpool that opens onto stars in another token from the edition, although in Beyonder the opening is approached on foot.11 It is also a still JPEG, with nothing animated attached.6

Two dated transfers give this wallet a history of its own, and both fall within minutes of a release opening.13,14 Magic Touch reached the collecting wallet at 18:03:35 UTC on 8 February 2023, three minutes after the first Life In West America token was minted.13,7 A contemporary account describes a window for holders before the public mint. The timing is consistent with that account, although the transfer alone establishes only when the wallet received Magic Touch.7 Beyonder reached the same wallet at 17:01:59 UTC on 11 April 2025, under a minute and a half after New Lands opened with a public mint.14,11 That edition took more than an hour to sell out, so this arrival came at the head of an unhurried sale rather than inside a scramble.11 Both records document receipt and nothing more.13,14 They show when a work landed. They do not show who sent it, what was paid or whether anyone at this address made a choice, so they are treated here as arrivals rather than acquisitions.13,14 No transfer record is supplied for One Last Order, which can only be placed in the wallet at the audited block.3
The broader holdings have an unusual evenness.3 The address holds a single work from each release it touches, running from the earliest BrainDrops edition to New Lands, with no series doubled and only a handful of releases absent.3 It reads less like a concentrated position than like a shelf with one spine per title, which is why three works drawn from it can differ so sharply in surface, mood and maker.3 Each credit here comes from the token's own Artist field, naming Rainisto, Ren and Miboso in turn, which keeps attribution tied to the object rather than to a platform label.2,5,6
Read in sequence, the wallet tracks the platform's changing looks without lingering on any of them.3 What stays after the history and the credits is the bright spray at the right edge of Beyonder, flung white beside the curling wall of water while the lone walker keeps to the narrow path.6
