Views

The work in context

Views makes the window a boundary between an observer and an imagined reality. DeltaSauce’s release statement connects this device to film: we can feel present in a scene while remaining unable to change what happens within it. [1]

Construction and process

The repeated frame is a conceptual organiser, not evidence that each image used the same prompt or model. The artist’s broader statement emphasises emotional connection and the physical display of digital work. Within BrainDrops, Views can be read beside LIWA as another way of borrowing familiar visual conventions to make unfamiliar worlds persuasive. [1][2]

Release and mint

The official catalogue dates this release to 2023-11-30. At the 2026-10-13 check, the platform reported 500 minted works against a maximum of 500. Those equal figures establish the platform’s reported count, not how quickly the edition sold or who performed the mints. [1]

Launch price, presale conditions, mint duration and realised proceeds are not established in this dossier’s evidence. No current market price is substituted for a historical mint price. [1]

Token and preservation

This release uses the shared BrainDrops Ethereum contract. Its official project identifier is 28; the archive matches token IDs to projects and checks ownership at a fixed block. The contract record, token metadata and displayed media are separate parts of the object. [3][4]

BD5D stores optimised still previews, and preserves original media links in its catalogue. The evidence assembled here does not establish that the generative model, its training data, or the full-resolution artwork bytes execute or reside on Ethereum.

Rights record

Series-specific licence: not established. No explicit licence grant has been verified in the sources cited for this dossier. BD5D does not label the work CC0 or assign commercial rights from token ownership. The paper or software associated with a project may have its own licence; that is a separate record from the artwork.
