Moderats holds a figure in profile near the start of this BrainDrops story, a dark cap pulled low and a translucent layer of flowers laid across the face until the outline of the body breaks apart.⁴ The work is anagram, from corpo | real, and the token's own Artist field credits Claire Silver.⁴ It is a JPEG, so the still is the whole work rather than a frame lifted from something longer.⁴ Silver's edition is made of still images that borrow the look of fashion shoots, lit as if in a studio.⁵ Its project text pulls the word corporeal apart into its roots and asks what having a form means once AI is involved.⁶ Its metadata gives the category surveillance state and the trait anon, the same pairing BD5D's study records for lbd, the first token minted, where a black mechanical helmet encases the head.^4,5 In anagram the covering is petals rather than hardware, and the face is veiled instead of replaced.^4,5 The title points to rearrangement, and the floral overlay does rearrange the figure, dissolving its edge into pattern.⁴

Hidden beauty, credited on its token to Chikai, comes from Anthrocinematica, and the image supplied here is only a pause in an MP4.⁷ The frozen frame shows a grid of framed photographs around a central portrait, its clothing and setting crowded with red flowers.⁷ The red gathers at the centre, so the flowers are what pick the portrait out of the grid.⁷ The metadata puts the room in a kitchen in India and the photographs on its wall in Japan, with a woman as the subject.⁷ Chikai's project text builds each room in two versions, one hung with pictures of Japan and one with pictures of the US, across a handful of countries that include India.⁸ BD5D's study of the edition describes the camera moving between a single framed picture and the whole wall, then coming back to where it started.⁹ The still catches one point in that travel, with the portrait singled out while its neighbours stay in view.^7,9 BD5D's own holding from the edition, Lost in a crowd, is set in a Finnish kitchen, so Hidden beauty shows the same kind of room in another country.^9,7 Its red flowers echo the petals over anagram's face, though in Chikai's frame they belong to clothing and setting rather than a mask.^7,4

The transfer records give Moderats a compact BrainDrops sequence across early 2024.^10,11,12 The wallet received anagram on the evening of 1 February 2024, UTC, the day after corpo | real opened.^10,5 Hidden beauty arrived on 29 March 2024, the day Anthrocinematica was released.^11,9 Memory #169 followed shortly after six in the evening UTC on 25 April 2024, the opening day of Memories of an Exhibition.^12,13 Each arrival lands on or just after an opening day, so this run of receipts tracks the platform's release calendar from February to April.^10,11,12 Each record shows that a token was received, and none of them establishes a purchase or a reason.^12,10,11 A receipt fixes where a work went and when, but an acquisition decision needs a different kind of evidence.¹² That kind of evidence exists for this collector outside BrainDrops, since SuperRare reported on 20 December 2019 that Moderats had acquired EthGirl by Trevor Jones with Alotta Money.¹⁴ On 8 December 2019 the same address received XCOPY's Echoes of a Dead Earth (blue) through KnownOrigin, a transfer separate from the BrainDrops contract.¹⁵ Set beside that reported acquisition, the BrainDrops works remain receipts with dates attached, not announced choices.^14,12

The wallet is tied to the collector through the Moderats Art account on SuperRare, which publishes the exact address.¹⁶ Its BrainDrops holdings lean hardest on Bardou's Memories of an Exhibition, which outweighs every other project present.¹⁷ Brain Loops forms the next cluster, Genesis and corpo | real each appear more than once, and DreamScapes, ELEMENTS, miniPODs and Anthrocinematica sit at the margins.¹⁷ That gives the wallet a dense core in Bardou's edition with a looser scatter of other projects around it.¹⁷ Silver's corpo | real appearing more than once means anagram has a companion from the same edition in this wallet.^17,4 The holdings reach from Genesis, one of the releases BrainDrops opened with, to Anthrocinematica and Memories of an Exhibition, both released in 2024.^17,5,9,13 Memories of an Exhibition is therefore where differences between individual titles and painters would matter most in this wallet, though only Memory #169 is examined here.^17,18 Credit throughout follows the Artist field on each token rather than any broader label.^18,4,7

Memory #169 carries Benjamin Bardou in its Artist field, with Pierre Bonnard named as the painter and Dusk in the Dining Room as the title.¹⁸ It is an MP4 with a soundtrack called Portraits of Past Times, so the frame examined here is silent and fixed where the work itself moves and sounds.¹⁸ BD5D's study describes each token in the edition as a short video in which a painter's style of brushwork collects into an image and breaks up again.¹³ Bardou's project text gathers Bonnard with Monet and Van Gogh as painters recalled through colour.¹⁹ The metadata records no flashes, unlike the Monet token in BD5D's study, where small points of bright light mark that trait.^18,13 Where anagram is complete as an image and Hidden beauty is a stopped camera move, Memory #169 is a stopped painting caught partway through its strokes.^4,7,18

The title promises a room at dusk, yet the still from the video shows a bright, open landscape.¹⁸ Red Room Harmony, in BD5D's study, likewise names an interior that the video does not depict.¹³ Bonnard's name and the dining room point indoors, but the colour in this frame belongs to open ground.¹⁸ The evening room has opened outwards, and broad yellow and violet marks run through the light, spreading from the middle distance.¹⁸
