A green ring is the first thing to hold the eye in Cannibalist Rapture, a work held by wave, where the circle encloses a face, exposed teeth and strips of colour while black fills the corners.² Cannibalist Rapture reached wave’s warm wallet on 2 March 2023. Five days later the same address received a work by Vadim Epstein and COH and another by Devi Parikh.^3,4,5 All three still appeared together at the audit block. Set beside the glowing circle in Cannibalist Rapture, their two very different surfaces give this corner of wave’s collection its character.^6,7,8

The token credits Obvious, the French trio behind Dream Capsules, a series that BrainDrops presents as a gathering of dreams made with artificial intelligence.^2,9,10 Its traits file this capsule as a Nightmare with the emotion Despairing, at the Common tier.² The text attached to the token tells of being held captive by an old man who ate his victims raw, and of the dreamer coming to accept that death was near.² The image does not stage that story as a scene, since there is no room and no captor in full figure, only the face and teeth packed inside the rim, so the threat arrives as a close-up.² BD5D's history of the series records a green rim on the Common capsule it examined and blue rims on the Rare ones, while declining to read rarity into colour from so small a sample.¹⁰ Cannibalist Rapture is consistent with that observation without settling it.^2,10 It is a still png, with no animation attached to the token.²

The transfers give wave's history with these works a compact shape.^3,4,5 Cannibalist Rapture reached the wallet on 2 March 2023.³ Five days later, on the evening of 7 March 2023 UTC, TEOPEMA #498 arrived, and Confluence #514 followed less than three minutes after it.^4,5 Each entry shows a token landing in the wallet and nothing more, and none establishes a purchase or the intent behind it.^3,4,5 Receipt is the moment a token reaches an address, while an acquisition decision is a choice somebody makes, and these records capture only the first.^3,4 The closeness of the two arrivals on 7 March makes them read as a single moment in the wallet's record, but the record cannot say who arranged either transfer or why.^4,5 What can be said is that within a week these three unlike images had come to rest together, and that they were still together at the audit block.^6,3,5

TEOPEMA #498 is the one work of the three that moves, and the image shown with this paragraph is only a still from it.⁷ The token is an mp4, and BrainDrops describes each TEOPEMA piece as a three-second video with sound that takes its place in a much longer film when every piece is played in order.^7,11 The still gathers pale, figure-like forms above a blue lower field crossed by streaks of red and orange.⁷ Its motion and soundtrack are not described here, so the frame should be read as one instant of the clip rather than the clip itself.⁷ The token's Artist field reads Vadim Epstein x COH, and BD5D's series history identifies that joint credit as the visual artist Vadim Epstein working with the sound artist COH.^7,12 The picture and the sound in this clip therefore belong to two named collaborators rather than one.¹² Its traits place the piece in the chapter Body of Nature, beginning at 24:54 in the full film, under the label Dispersed in its set phase.⁷ BD5D's own TEOPEMA holding comes from the same chapter a little earlier, and its frames are crowded with torn tissue and riveted metal under the label Killed.¹² Beside that, the still from wave’s clip looks calmer, with figures that hover rather than tear and a label that suits forms scattered over a cold ground.^7,12

The wallet behind these receipts resolves to warm.0xwave.eth, and it is one of this collector's wallets rather than all of them, so the shape described here belongs to this address alone.¹³ That shape leans heavily towards two series.⁶ Dream Capsules and TEOPEMA make up most of the holding, which places Cannibalist Rapture and TEOPEMA #498 inside the wallet's main concentrations.⁶ Confluence and Deep Journeys appear equally often, alongside smaller groups from ClipMatrix Creatures and Chimerical Stories, with isolated pieces from Brain Loops, Genesis, Fake Feelings and ELEMENTS.⁶ The weighting matters most for TEOPEMA, because the tokens belong to a film built to run in sequence. Only one pair in wave’s wallet is adjacent. The other clips sample scattered moments in the film.^6,11 Its Dream Capsules gather the opposite, a run of individual dreams and nightmares, each sealed inside its own sphere.^6,10

Confluence #514, credited on the token to Devi Parikh, is flat where the other two glow or move.⁸ Orange loops and irregular outlined shapes spread across a pink square.⁸ The outlines stay irregular, so none of the shapes settles into a recognisable object.⁸ Its traits give a Safe palette in two colours with Healthy marks, and the format is png, so this is a still even though BD5D notes that pieces in the series can be static or animated.^8,14 The two colours keep the picture plain, orange against pink with nothing to soften the contrast.⁸ The last trait records the reading a model made of the finished image, which BD5D's history connects to pareidolia, the habit of finding figures in chance shapes.^15,14 For this piece the answer is Wall.⁸ It seems an odd word for a field of loops until the eye finds what interrupts them.⁸ Running down through the pink is a thin vertical seam, an upright break in the loops of an image a model chose to call Wall.⁸
