Thirty-five official releases.
BD5D follows the official BrainDrops release list from 15 November 2021 through 31 December 2025. The current verified list contains 35 projects; its latest release is New Lands, dated 11 April 2025. Later releases belong outside this historical completion target.
Official project IDs run from 1 to 38 with 18, 19 and 20 absent. Those gaps are not treated as missing releases: the official list excludes them, and their project endpoints returned 404 during this audit.
Collaborations and special releases.
All AI Art Looks The Same is one project, despite artist-specific marketplace groupings. It credits fourteen artist practices. One token completes its project requirement; collecting every participant is a separate measure that this version does not claim to complete.
miniPODs is included because it appears in the official release catalogue. A broader register of externally issued airdrops and special editions remains unverified, so BD5D does not display a “complete including all airdrops” score.
Holdings are a snapshot.
Both wallets were enumerated using balanceOf and tokenOfOwnerByIndex. Every resulting token was checked with ownerOf at the same Ethereum block, 26183308. The snapshot contains 9 distinct tokens across 7 qualifying projects. A later transfer will not appear until the snapshot is refreshed.
Completeness here means ownership in these two wallets, not all wallets controlled by a collector, escrowed works or beneficial ownership. Tokens are deduplicated by chain, contract and token ID.
Supply needs two numbers.
The catalogue preserves both the official reported minted count and maximum supply. They are not interchangeable: A Journey of Samurai reports 92 minted against a maximum of 444; Memories of an Exhibition reports 329 against 500. These official API counts are labelled as such, rather than presented as independently reconciled total supply.
Sources and preservation.
- Official release API — names, release dates, credits and example media.
- Individual official project endpoints — descriptions, process documentation, contract and supply fields.
- Ethereum contract — wallet ownership and metadata locations.
- Official token endpoints — artwork titles, media and attributes.
The public data files preserve the catalogue, ownership evidence and original IPFS metadata locations. Optimised still-image previews are stored with the site. Original media and animations remain linked to BrainDrops’ hosting; this is not a claim that every original media asset or AI model has been independently preserved.
Editorial summaries paraphrase the artists’ official project descriptions. Technique labels stay general where a specific model is not documented. Market listings and prices are omitted until fresh, token-specific evidence is available.
